There is so much God wants to reveal to us about Himself. He gave us the gospel of salvation as proof of his love for us, because, as we receive Christ as our Lord and Saviour, he unloads His love into our hearts to dwell in us. Hence, making us the ones who are loved and chosen by him and who love him in return.
Growing in the love of the Lord is God’s will for us all, for in it, we know and experience God. We can grow in this love as we study the word of God with our hearts, obey his commandments and commune in prayers. Thus, opening ourselves to experiencing God’s love.
This process of fellowship with God through prayers and obedience of his words develops the seed of the love of Christ in us, such that more of God’s word in our hearts equals more manifestation of his love in our lives .
